Mission Statement
To make every effort to insure that the Verde Valley Democratic Party is a highly visible and viable presence in the State of Arizona, with as much representation as possible at the local, state, and national levels so our voices are heard; and to make every effort to effect change within the political process.
Current and local issues include:
- Protect and preserve the Verde River,
- Support area public schools,
- Demand responsible, open and accountable local government,
- Promote responsible and sustainable growth in the Verde Valley, and
- Provide jobs with living wages.
Policy Statement
Policy Regarding Candidate Use of DOVV Web Site, E-mail Lists, and Headquarters Facilities
As a political club, the executive board of DOVV believes in extending every courtesy to those Democrats who give their time and talent to run for office. We will make our website and our email lists available as much as possible. We attempt to be neutral in our position and fair in our allotments of resources. The DOVV board reserves the final say in the equitable distribution of those resources to candidates and their representatives.
